As many as 250 guests can be comfortably accommodated at the Dumfries Arms for the grandest of occasions, and we know exactly how to make the smallest, most intimate of weddings extra special too.

The personal touch is as important to us as all the major formalities of your wedding and our team have the experience and creativity to add finesse to every stage, from first meeting to floral arrangements, table favours to the final flurry of confetti.

Receptions

Our function suite can be prepared as the setting for your wedding ceremony and then transformed into the perfect scene for your wedding breakfast, and the ideal backdrop for meals and speeches. The suite’s partition is removable, to help tailor the space for ceremonies and celebrations of different sizes, and the room has its own extensive marble bar and separate, designated washrooms.

For your evening reception we can seamlessly transform the suite into a stylish ballroom complete with dance floor and mood lighting for your ceilidh or disco, rock band or classical string quartet, we can help provide just the right atmosphere.
